The Barrelas Summer Fest 2026 returns at the end of August to the iconic Estádio Municipal da Pedralva, in Vila Nova de Paiva, located in the Viseu District, just a short distance from Lisbon. Since its first edition in 2024, this festival has become one of the most anticipated summer events in the West region of Portugal, celebrating the local Saloia culture, tradition, gastronomy, and entertainment in a vibrant and natural setting.
Over the course of two unforgettable days, thousands of visitors come together to enjoy a diverse program that includes agriculture and livestock fairs, traditional crafts, regional cuisine, folklore, children’s activities, horse and bike parades, traditional bull runs, and live concerts.
Music is one of the main highlights of the event. Every year, the festival presents an eclectic lineup of Portuguese and international artists, with genres ranging from Alentejo traditional singing and folklore groups to pop, rock, electronic music, and reggae. In 2025, the stage hosted renowned names such as Bandidos do Cante, Ana Bacalhau, Jéssica Cipriano, Syro, Rocktulo and comedian Eduardo Madeira, setting high expectations for the 2026 edition, whose official lineup will be announced soon.
