About this event
The FexpoMalveira 2026 will once again be one of the biggest summer highlights in the village of Malveira, in the municipality of Mafra, just a short drive from Lisbon. Every year, the Parish Woods of Malveira (Mata Paroquial da Malveira) come alive with colors, music, gastronomy, and the vibrant traditions of the Saloia region.
Taking place during the second week of August 2026, the festival brings together thousands of visitors to celebrate local culture with a program that includes agricultural and livestock fairs, traditional crafts, regional cuisine, folklore, children’s activities, sports parades, bull runs, and concerts.
Music is always one of the biggest attractions. The event usually features a diverse lineup of Portuguese music, from traditional Alentejo singing and folklore groups to pop, rock, and electronic sounds. In 2025, for example, the stage hosted names like Bandidos do Cante, Ana Bacalhau, Jéssica Cipriano, Syro, and Rocktulo, as well as comedy shows with Eduardo Madeira. The 2026 lineup will be officially announced soon, but expectations are high for another memorable cultural celebration.
With free admission, FexpoMalveira is the perfect opportunity to discover the heritage, traditions and gastronomy of Mafra and the West region of Portugal, just a few kilometers from Lisbon. Don’t miss this summer highlight and experience the joy, music and culture of Malveira!
