The O Sol da Caparica 2026 festival is confirmed and will be held from 13 to 16 August in Costa da Caparica Portugal. This is one of the major highlights of the Portuguese summer celebrating Portuguese music in all its diversity and attracting thousands of visitors from Portugal and abroad.

The official lineup has not yet been announced but festival goers can expect a mix of hip hop pop rock electronic music fado samba and kizomba. The event has a strong tradition of featuring famous Portuguese artists and emerging talents creating a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the musical culture of Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries.

The festival site is located in the Costa da Caparica Urban Park just a few meters from the beach. During the day you can swim in the Atlantic Ocean, enjoy surfing, or simply relax on the sand before heading back to the concerts at night.

Besides the concerts it is expected that the audience will also enjoy other experiences as in previous editions including workshops urban arts dance animation cinema and water sports such as surf stand up paddle windsurf and bodyboard. The access is very convenient since Costa da Caparica is only 15 minutes from Lisbon with direct buses from the capital and quick connections by public transport. For those arriving from abroad Lisbon Airport is less than 30 minutes away making the festival easy to reach for everyone.
