Join a Fátima Sanctuary, Nazaré and Óbidos day tour from Lisbon and experience a full day combining faith, coastal scenery and medieval heritage in some of Portugal’s most iconic destinations.
The tour begins at the Fátima Sanctuary, one of the world’s most important pilgrimage sites. Accompanied by a professional guide, enjoy a guided visit of the Sanctuary, where you will learn about the events of 1917, the apparitions of Our Lady of Fátima and the spiritual importance of this sacred place. During the visit, explore key areas such as the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the Sanctuary grounds. There is also time for personal reflection and free exploration.
After leaving Fátima, the tour continues to Nazaré, a traditional fishing village famous for its Atlantic coastline and strong maritime identity. Enjoy time to explore the town, walk along the seafront and admire views over the ocean. Nazaré is also internationally known for its giant waves and surfing culture, adding a unique character to this coastal stop.
In the afternoon, travel to Óbidos, one of Portugal’s most charming medieval towns. Surrounded by ancient walls, Óbidos invites you to wander through narrow cobbled streets, admire whitewashed houses and discover its historic castle. Enjoy free time in Óbidos to explore at your own pace, browse local shops or taste the famous ginjinha, traditionally served in a chocolate cup.
Throughout the day, travel in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle and be accompanied by a professional tour guide, who will provide historical context and local insights at each stop.
